Update (January 22, 2013)
NIT Calicut ACM Students chapter, in association with Computer Science and Engineering Association and Computer Society of India Chapter of NITC jointly conducted an 8-day long hands-on series on “Fundamentals of C”. Although the sessions were intended for those students who are weak in computer programming, the response was overwhelming with the students being positive about the impact of the session in their programming skills.
Sessions were conducted on Mondays to Thursdays, after class hours in the Software Systems Laboratory. All the sessions were hands-on, and the students were taught enough theory before the real programming session. Each day was handled by different resource persons from BTech CSE, MTech CSE and MCA students. There were 3-4 students to assist the resource persons on each day.
